Who we are

The Central Illinois Region (CIR) of the Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) is primarily a promoter of autocrossing events. The region has a number of road racers who drive in many different classes of racing cars, from Improved Touring (IT) to Showroom Stock (SS), to sports racers, to open wheel race cars such as Formula V (FV), Formula Continental (FC), and Formula Atlantic (FA). These pages contain schedules and additional information about the Autocrosses (solo racing events) and other activities put on by CIR-SCCA. The club members are a varied group of people, interested in motorsports of all kinds.

What we do

AutoX
A timed event using traffic cones to make a mini-roadcourse in a large parking lot or unused airport tarmac to see who can drive it the quickest without hitting any cones or going off course.

SCCA Track Events
SCCA Track Events provide an environment for drivers who simply want to increase the enjoyment of driving their vehicle. For most drivers all it takes to be a part is your safe street car, a valid drivers license, and an approved helmet

RallyX
RallyCross is the most widespread and readily accessible form of extreme dirt motorsport in the Sports Car Club of America, and the perfect place to see if you have what it takes to power slide your way to victory.
